icebreaker: OTSO, KONTIO and SISU assist in the Bay of Bothnia. METEOR assists in the Lake Saimaa. 
Sweden 
Vessels not suitable for winter navigation, river vessels and tugs with barge can not expect governmental 
cebreaker assistance. All ships entering harbours in the Gulf of Bothnia shall, when passing Svenska Björn 
N 59° 33’ E 20° 01’) contact the VTS Gävle on VHF channel 84. 
Icebreaker: YMER and ALE assist in the Bay of Bothnia.
