Finnischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Narva- und Kundabucht 
treibt in der Küstennähe sehr lockeres dünnes Eis. - 
Finnische Küste: In den westlichen Schären 10-25 
cm dickes, morsch werdendes Festeis. In den 
östlichen Schären liegt 15-30 cm dickes Festeis, 
außerhalb davon kommt örtlich dichtes, 10-25 cm 
dickes Eis vor. - Russische Küste: In den Häfen 
von St. Petersburg lockeres bis sehr lockeres 20-30 
cm dickes Eis. Weiter westwärts kommt im 
Fahrwasser bis zur Länge von Petrodvorec dichtes 
bis sehr dichtes 30-45 cm dickes Eis vor, gefolgt von 
sehr lockerem Eis bis zur Länge der Ostspitze vom 
Kotlin und dann lockeres, 30-40cm dickes Eis bis 
zur Westspitze. Daran anschließend offenes Wasser 
bis zur Länge von Seskar und sehr lockeres Eis bis 
zur Länge von Kap Kurgalski. Danach folgt dichtes 
bis sehr dichtes, 10-25 cm dickes Eis bis zur Länge 
von Bol'Soj T'uters, westlich davon sehr lockeres 
Eis. Die Eisgrenze verläuft etwa von Ust-Narva nach 
Bol'Soj T'uters und Virginy und dann in Richtung 
Nordwest. - Die Vyborgbucht ist mit 30-45 cm 
dickem Festeis bedeckt, in der Einfahrt kommt 
offenes Wasser vor. - Der Berkezund ist mit 15-30 
cm dickem Festeis bedeckt, in der Einfahrt kommt 
offenes Wasser vor. - In der Luga und Copora Bucht 
liegt an den Küsten 10-25 cm dickes Festeis, 
außerhalb davon liegt sehr lockeres Eis, in der Luga 
Bucht auch 10-20cm dickes dichtes Eis. 
Älandsee 
In geschützten Buchten und Schären kommt 
lockeres dünnes Eis und Eisbrei vor. 
Schärenmeer 
In den Zufahrten nach Korra und Lohm offenes 
Wasser sowie stellenweise sehr lockeres dünnes 
Eis. Ansonsten in den Schären morsches ebenes 
Eis. 
Bottensee 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären liegt 15- 
40 cm dickes Festeis. - Schwedische Küste: In den 
ınneren Buchten und Häfen liegt bis zu 25 cm, auf 
dem Ängermanälven 30-50 cm dickes Festeis. Auf 
See kommt zwischen Järnäsudde und Skagsudde 
ein 2-10sm breites Gebiet mit dichtem Treibeis und 
Eisbrei vor. Dicht an der Küste kommt lockeres Eis 
vor, ansonsten auf See eisfrei. 
Norra Kvarken 
Auf See kommt stellenweise dichtes Eis vor. 
Finnische Küste: Zwischen Vaasa und Ensten liegt 
20-45 cm dickes Festeis. Zwischen Ensten und 
Norrskär liegt sehr offenes, dünnes Eis, weiter 
außerhalb treibt dünnes lockeres Eis. - 
Schwedische Küste: In den Buchten und Häfen 
entlang der Küste und westlich von Holmöarna liegt 
20-40 cm dickes Festeis. Außerhalb des Festeises 
befinden sich kleinere Rinnen. Südwestlich von 
Nordvalen und weiter nach Süden die Küste entlang, 
Montag, den 30.03.2009

Gulf of Finland 
Estonian Coast: In the Bays of Narva and Kunda 
very open thin ice is drifting near the coast. - 
Finnish Coast: In the western archipelago there is 
10-25 cm thick rottening fast ice. In the eastern 
archipelago there is 15-30 cm thick fast ice, farther 
out there is close 10-25 cm thick ice in places. - 
Russian Coast: In the harbours of St. Petersburg 
there is open to very open 20-30 cm thick ice. 
Farther westwards on the fairway there is close to 
very close 30-45 cm thick ice up to the longitude of 
Petrodvorec followed by very open ice till the 
longitude of the eastern point of Kotlin and open, 30- 
40cm thick ice until the western point. Farther west 
there is open water till the longitude of Seskar and 
then very open ice till the longitude of Cape 
Kurgalski. From there till the longitude of Bol'Soj 
T'uters there is close to very close, 10-25cm thick 
ice, still farther west there is very open ice. The ice 
edge runs approximately from Ust-Narva to Bol'Soj 
"uters and island Virginy and from there in north- 
westward direction. - The Vyborg Bay is covered with 
30-45 cm thick fast ice. In the entrance there is open 
water. - In the Berkezund there is 15-30 cm thick fast 
ice, in the entrance open water occurs. - In the Luga 
and Copora Bays there is 10-25 cm thick fast ice 
along the coasts, farther off there is very open ice, 
although in the Luga Bay there is also close, 10-20 
cm thick ice. 
Sea of Äland 
In sheltered bays and archipelagos there is open 
thin ice and shuga. 
Archipelago Sea 
;'n the fairways to Korra and Lohm there is open 
water as well as very open, thin ice in places. Else 
rotten level ice in the archipelagos. 
Sea of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: There is 15-40 cm thick fast ice in 
the inner archipelago. - Swedish Coast: In the 
inner bays and harbours there is up to 25 cm, on 
the Ängermanälven 30-50 cm thick fast ice. At sea 
there is a 2-10nm wide area of close drift ice and 
shuga between Järnäsudde and Skagsudde. Near 
the coast open ice occurs., else at sea ice free. 
Norra Kvarken 
At sea there is close ice in places. 
Finnish Coast: Between Vaasa and Ensten there 
is 20-45 cm thick fast ice. From Ensten to Norrskär 
there is very open thin ice, farther out thin open ice 
is drifting. - Swedish Coast: In bays and harbours 
along the coast and the west of Holmöarna there is 
20-40 cm thick fast ice. Outside the fast ice there 
are some smaller leads. Southwest of Nordvalen 
and stretching southwards along the coast, there is 
a 2-6nm wide region with close ice and shuga.
