Finnischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Narva- und Kundabucht 
treibt in der Küstennähe sehr lockeres dünnes Eis. - 
Finnische Küste: In den westlichen Schären 10-25 
cm dickes Festeis. Außerhalb davon kommt Neueis 
ind Neueisbildung vor. In den östlichen Schären 
liegt 15-30 cm dickes Festeis. Außerhalb davon 
kommt örtlich sehr lockeres 10-25 cm dickes Eis vor. 
m Bereich Vaindlo — Kotka-Leuchtturm — Gogland 
treibt stellenweise lockeres 10-25 cm dickes Eis. 
Sonst kommt etwa bis zur Linie Hankoniemi — 
Vaindlo Neueis und Neueisbildung vor. - Russische 
Küste: In den Häfen von St. Petersburg lockeres 
20-30 cm dickes Eis. Weiter westwärts kommt im 
Fahrwasser bis zur Länge von Petrodvorec dichtes 
bis sehr dichtes 30-45 cm dickes Eis vor. Danach 
folgt dichtes bis lockeres 30-40 cm dickes Eis bis zur 
Länge von Tolbuchin und Neueis bis zur Länge von 
Kap Dubovskij. Anschließend tritt sehr dichtes 10-25 
cm dickes Eis bis zur Länge 2725' E auf. Außerhalb 
davon kommt bis zur Eisgrenze entlang der Linie 
Toila — Vaindlo lockeres Treibeis vor. - Vyborgbucht 
ist mit 30-45 cm dickem Festeis bedeckt, in der 
Einfahrt kommt offenes Wasser vor. - Berkezund ist 
mit 15-30 cm dickem Festeis bedeckt, in der Einfahrt 
kommt offenes Wasser und Neueis vor. - In der 
Luga und Copora Bucht liegt an den Küsten 10-25 
cm dickes Festeis, außerhalb davon treibt lockeres 
10-20 cm dickes Eis. 
Älandsee 
In geschützten Buchten und Schären kommt 
lockeres dünnes Eis vor. 
Schärenmeer 
Zwischen Korra und Lohm kommt morsches dünnes 
Eis, außerhalb davon Neueisbildung vor. 
Bottensee 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären liegt 15- 
40 cm dickes Festeis, außerhalb davon bildet sich 
nördlich von Pori Neueis. - Schwedische Küste: In 
den inneren Buchten und Häfen liegt bis zu 25 cm, 
auf dem Ängermanälven 30-50 cm dickes Festeis. 
Auf See kommen nördlich der Linie Högbonden — 
Storkallegrund und östlich der Linie Nordvalen — 
Norrskär Bereiche mit 5-20 cm dickem Eis vor, die 
mit Neueis Zzusammengefroren sind. Um 
Sydostbrotten tritt 5-15 cm dickes ebenes Eis auf. 
Weiter südwärts bis zur Breite von Högbonden 
kommt dicht an der Küste Neueis vor. 
Norra Kvarken 
Auf See kommt Neueis mit einigen dickeren 
Eisschollen dazwischen vor. 
Finnische Küste: Zwischen Vaasa und Ensten liegt 
20-45 cm dickes Festeis. Außerhalb davon kommt 
bis Vaasa-Leuchtturm dichtes 5-20 cm dickes 
Treibeis, sonst Neueis vor. - Schwedische Küste: 
in den Buchten und Häfen entlang der Küste und 
westlich von Holmö6arna liegt 20-40 cm dickes

Gulf of Finland 
Estonian Coast: In the Bays of Narva and Kunda 
very open thin ice is drifting near the coast. - 
Finnish Coast: In the western archipelago there is 
*0-25 cm thick fast ice. Farther off there is new ice 
and new ice formation. In the eastern archipelago 
there is 15-30 cm thick fast ice. Farther out there is 
very open 10-25 cm thick ice in places. In the area 
Vaindlo — Kotka lighthouse — Gogland open 10-25 
am thick ice is drifting in places. Else, new ice and 
new ice formation occurs approximately to the line 
Hankoniemi — Vaindlo. - Russian Coast: In the 
narbours of St. Petersburg there is open 20-30 cm 
thick ice. Farther westwards on the fairway there is 
up to the longitude of Petrodvorec close to very close 
30-45 cm thick ice following by close to open 30-40 
cm thick ice up to the longitude of Tolbuchin and by 
new ice up to the longitude of Cape Dubovskij. 
Farther westwards there is very close 10-25 cm 
thick ice up to the longitude 2725' E. Farther out 
open drift ice occurs up to the ice edge along the line 
Toila — Vaindlo. - The Vyborg Bay is covered with 30- 
45 cm thick fast ice. In the entrance there is open 
water. - In the Berkezund there is 15-30 cm thick fast 
ice, in the entrance open water and new ice occurs. - 
In the Luga and Copora Bays there is 10-25 cm thick 
fast ice along the coasts, farther off open 10-20 cm 
thick ice is drifting. 
Sea of Äland 
In sheltered bays and archipelagos there is open 
thin ice. 
Archipelago Sea 
Between Korra and Lohm there is rotten thin ice, 
farther out ice formation occurs. 
Sea of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: There is 15-40 cm thick fast ice in 
‘he inner archipelago. Farther out new ice is 
forming north of Pori. - Swedish Coast: In the 
ınner bays and harbours there is up to 25 cm, on 
the Ängermanälven 30-50 cm thick fast ice. At sea 
there are north of the line Högbonden -— 
Storkallegrund and east of the line Nordvalen — 
Norrskär areas with 5-20 cm thick ice bound by 
new ice. Around Sydostbrotten there is 5-15 cm 
thick level ice. Farther southwards up to the latitude 
of Högbonden new ice occurs close to the coast. 
Norra Kvarken 
At sea there is new ice with some thicker ice floes 
in between. 
Finnish Coast: Between Vaasa and Ensten there 
is 20-45 cm thick fast ice. Farther off there is to 
Vaasa lighthouse close 5-20 cm thick drift ice. 
Otherwise, new ice occurs. - Swedish Coast: In 
Days and harbours along the coast and the west of 
Holmö6arna there is 20-40 cm thick fast ice. At sea
