Das dichte bis sehr dichte Eis liegt auf See 
größtenteils nördlich und nordöstlich von MoSCnyj. 
Estnische Küste: In der Narva- und Kundabucht 
ireibt in der Küstennähe sehr lockeres dünnes Eis. - 
Finnische Küste: In den westlichen Schären 10-25 
cm dickes, morsch werdendes Festeis, außerhalb 
davon kommt sehr lockeres dünnes Eis vor. In den 
Östlichen Schären liegt 15-30 cm dickes Festeis. 
Außerhalb davon tritt örtlich sehr dichtes 10-35 cm 
dickes Eis auf. Zwischen Gogland und Orrengrund 
erstreckt sich ein 2-10 sm breiter Gürtel mit dichtem 
10-25 cm dicken Eis. Sonst treibt auf See sehr 
ockeres bis lockeres 10-25 cm dickes Eis. 
Russische Küste: In den Häfen von St. Petersburg 
ockeres 20-30 cm dickes Eis. Weiter westwärts 
kommt im Fahrwasser bis zur Länge von Kronstadt 
dichtes bis sehr dichtes 30-45 cm dickes Eis, dann 
bis zur Länge von Westspitze der Insel Kotlin 
ockeres 30-40 cm dickes Eis vor. Danach folgt sehr 
ockeres Eis und offenes Wasser bis zur Länge von 
xap Dubovskij und bis zur Länge von Seskar 
ockeres 15-30 cm dickes Eis. Anschließend tritt 
dichtes bis sehr dichtes 10-25 cm dickes Eis bis 
etwa 27%25' E. Außerhalb davon treibt bis zur 
Eisgrenze entlang der Linie Leuchtturm Kajbolovo — 
"Leuchtturm RodSer lockeres bis sehr lockeres 10-20 
cm dickes Eis - Die Vyborgbucht ist mit 30-45 cm 
dickem Festeis bedeckt, außerhalb davon erst bis 
Yalli lockeres, dann sehr dichtes 15-30 cm dickes 
Eis. - Berkezund ist mit 15-30 cm dickem Festeis 
bedeckt, in der Einfahrt kommt lockeres 15-30 cm 
dickes Eis vor. - In der Luga und Corpora Bucht liegt 
an den Küsten 10-25 cm dickes Festeises, 
außerhalb davon treibt sehr lockeres bis lockeres 
10-20 cm dickes Eis. 
Älandsee 
In geschützten Buchten und Schären kommt 
lockeres dünnes Eis vor. 
Schärenmeer 
Zwischen Korra und Lohm kommt morsches dünnes 
Eis vor. 
Bottensee 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären liegt 15- 
40 cm dickes Festeis. - Schwedische Küste: In den 
‚nneren Buchten und Häfen liegt bis zu 25 cm, auf 
dem Ängermanälven 30-50 cm dickes Festeis. Auf 
See kommen nördlich der Linie Skagsudde — 
Strömmingsbädan wechselweise Bereiche mit 
übereinandergeschobenem 5-15 cm dicken Eis und 
Neueis vor. Weiter südwärts bis zur Breite von 
Aögbonden treibt stellenweise Neueis. 
Norra Kvarken 
Finnische Küste: Zwischen Vaasa und Ensten liegt 
20-45 cm dickes Festeis, außerhalb davon treibt 
südlich von Norrskär lockeres 5-20 cm dickes Eis, 
sonst kommt Neueis vor. - Schwedische Küste: In

Gulf of Finland 
The close to very close ice at sea is mostly 
concentrated north and north-east of MoSCnyj. 
Estonian Coast: In the Bays of Narva and Kunda 
very open thin ice is drifting near the coast. - 
Finnish Coast: In the western archipelago there is 
‘0-25 cm thick, rottening fast ice, farther off there is 
very open thin ice. In the eastern archipelago there 
is 15-30 cm thick fast ice. Farther off there is very 
slose 10-35 cm thick ice in places. Between 
Gogland and Orrengrund extends a 2-10 nm wide 
velt of close 10-25 cm thick ice. Otherwise, very 
apen to open 10-25 cm thick ice is drifting at sea 
area. - Russian Coast: In the harbours of St. 
Petersburg there is open 20-30 cm thick ice. Farther 
westwards on the fairway there is up to the longitude 
of Kronstadt close to very close 30-45 cm thick ice, 
‘ollowed up to the longitude of western point of Kotlin 
oy open 30-40 cm thick ice. Farther westwards 
'here is very open ice and open water to the 
longitude of Cape Dubovskij, then open 15-30 cm 
‘hick drift ice up to the longitude of Seskar. Farther 
off there is close to very close 10-25 cm thick ice up 
to the longitude 27%80' E. Farther out open to very 
apen 10-20 cm thick ice is drifting up to the ice edge 
along the line lighthouse Kaibolovo — lighthouse 
RodSer. - The Vyborg Bay is covered with 30-45 cm 
thick fast ice. Farther off there is first to Halli open, 
then very close 15-30 cm thick ice. - In the 
Berkezund there is 15-30 cm thick fast ice, in the 
entrance open 15-30 cm thick ice occurs. - In the 
Luga and Corpora Bays there is 10-25 cm thick fast 
ice along the coasts, farther off very open to open 
‘0-20 cm thick ice is drifting. 
Sea of Äland 
In sheltered bays and archipelagos there is open 
thin ice. 
Archipelago Sea 
Between Korra and Lohm there is rotten thin ice. 
Sea of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: There is 15-40 cm thick fast ice in 
the inner archipelago. - Swedish Coast: In the 
inner bays and harbours there is up to 25 cm, on 
the Ängermanälven 30-50 cm thick fast ice. At sea 
there are north of the line Skagsudde -— 
Strömmingsbädan alternating areas with rafted 5- 
15 cm thick ice and new ice. Farther southwards up 
to the latitude of Högbonden some new ice is 
drifting.

Finnish Coast: Between Vaasa and Ensten there 
is 20-45 cm thick fast ice, farther off open 5-20 cm 
ihick ice is drifting south of Norrskär. Otherwise,
