Übersicht 
in der Rinne außerhalb der finnischen 
Bottenvikküste hat sich Neueis gebildet, sonst 
ı1aben sich die Eisverhältnisse im nördlichen 
Ostseeraum seit gestern nicht wesentlich geändert. 
Skagerrak, Kattegat und Beltsee 
Norwegische Küste: In einigen geschützten 
Buchten kommt sehr lockeres dünnes Eis vor. Im 
dafen von Oslo tritt Örtlich dichtes dünnes 
Trümmereis oder Eisbrei auf, Holzschiffe werden 
behindert. Im Drammensfjord liegt dichtes 10-15 cm 
dickes Eis; Schiffe mit niedriger Maschinenleistung 
werden behindert. Im Bereich Kragerg kommt in 
Jomfrulandsrenna sehr lockeres 5-10 cm dickes Eis, 
m Skäteysund sehr dichtes 15-30 cm dickes Eis 
And im Kragerofjorden lockeres 15-30 cm dickes 
Treibeis vor. Im Langärsund liegt 30-50 cm dickes 
Festeis. Im Kilsfjorden und im Hellefjorden 30-50 cm 
dickes Festeis; Schifffahrt verläuft in einer Rinne 
ohne Eisbrecherunterstützung. Im Bereich Arendal 
reibt im Tromoysund sehr lockeres dünnes Eis. - 
Schwedische Küste: Vänersee: An der Nordküste 
Ind in der Vänersborgsviken dicht an der Küste liegt 
10-25 cm dickes Festeis. 
Mittlere und Nördliche Ostsee 
Litauische Küste: Das Kurische Haff ist mit 10-25 
cm dickem zerbrochenen Eis bedeckt. - Russische 
Küste: In der Zufahrt nach Kaliningrad liegt sehr 
dichtes 15-30 cm dickes Eis. - Schwedische Küste: 
in geschützten Buchten und Schären kommt 
ockeres dünnes Eis oder Eisbrei vor. Mälarsee: Mit 
15-30 cm diekem Festeis oder ebenem Eis bedeckt. 
Overview 
New ice has formed in the lead off the Finnish 
coast in the Bay of Bothnia. Otherwise, the ice 
conditions in the northern region of the Baltic Sea 
have not changed very much since yesterday. 
Skagerrak, Kattegat and Belt Sea 
Norwegian Coast: In some sheltered bays there is 
very open thin ice. In the harbour of Oslo there is 
close thin brash ice or shuga, navigation is 
dangerous for wooden vessels. In Drammens- 
jorden there is 15-30 cm thick close ice; navigation 
or low-powered vessels can be dangerous. In the 
Kragerg region there is very open 5-10 cm thick 
drift ice in Jomfrulandsrenna, very close 15-30 cm 
‘hick drift ice in Skätoysund and open 15-30 cm 
thick ice in Kragerefjorden. in Langärsund there is 
30-50 cm thick fast ice. In Kilsfjorden and 
Hellefjorden there is 30-50 cm thick fast ice; 
navigation proceeds in lead without the assistance 
of an icebreaker. In the Arendal region very open 
‘hin ice is drifting in Tromoysund. - Swedish 
Coast: Lake Vänern: At the northern coast and in 
:he Vänersborgsviken close to the coast there is 
10-25 cm thick fast ice. 
Central and Northern Baltic 
Lithuanian Coast: The Courland Lagoon is 
covered with 10-25 cm thick broken ice. - Russian 
Coast: In the entrance to Kaliningrad there is very 
slose 15-30 cm thick ice. - Swedish coast: In 
sheltered bays and archipelagos there is open thin 
ice or shuga. Lake Mälaren: Covered by 15-30 cm 
thick fast ice or level ice
