nach Kaliningrad liegt 10-15 cm dickes Festeis,
außerhalb davon etwas Treibeis. - Schwedische
Küste: In geschützten Buchten und Schären kommt
dünnes ebenes Eis oder Neueis vor. Mälarsee: Mit
15-30 cm dickem Festeis oder ebenem Eis bedeckt.
Rigaischer Meerbusen
Im Norden treibt lockeres 5-15 cm dickes Eis,
außerhalb der Westküste und in der Irbenstraße
kommt offenes Wasser vor.
Estnische Küste: In der Pärnu Bucht liegt 30-40 cm
dickes Festeis. Außerhalb davon kommt bis zur
Breite der Insel Kihnu lockeres bis dichtes 10-20 cm
dickes Eis, weiter außerhalb offenes Wasser vor. Im
Moonsund liegt in der Küstenzone 15-30 cm dickes,
teilweise aufgebrochenes Festeis, außerhalb davon
dichtes bis sehr dichtes 10-20 cm dickes Eis. -
Lettische Küste: Im Hafen Riga und im Fahrwasser
Riga — Irbenstraße kommt offenes Wasser vor.
Kaliningrad there is 10-15 cm thick fast ice, off the
*ast ice some drift ice is found. - Swedish coast: In
sheltered bays and archipelagos there is thin level
ice or new ice. Lake Mälaren: Covered by 15-30
cm thick fast ice or level ice.
Gulf of Riga
In the North open 5-15 cm thick ice is drifting, off
Ihe western coast and in the Irben Strait open
water occurs.
Estonian Coast: In the Pärnu Bay there is 30-40
cm thick fast ice. Farther out up to the latitude of
island Kihnu there is open to close 10-20 cm thick
ice. In the coastal zone of the Moonsund there is
‘5-30 cm thick, partly broken fast ice, farther off
close and very close 10-20 cm thick ice. - Latvian
Coast: In the port of Riga and on the fairway Riga
- Irben Strait there is open water.
Finnischer Meerbusen
Die Eisgrenze verläuft auf der Linie Jussarö —-Ust-
Narva. Etwa 6-12 sm breite Rinnen erstrecken sich
von Hamina westwärts entlang der nördlichen Küste
Und von Ust-Narva westwärts entlang der südlichen
Küste.
Estnische Küste: In der Narvabucht treibt lockeres
Eis, in der Kunda Bucht kommt in Küstennähe
dunkler Nilas vor. - Finnische Küste: In den inneren
Schären 5-25 cm dickes Festeis im westlichen und
15-25 cm dickes Festeis im östlichen Teil. Außer-
halb davon liegt bis Harmaja und Haapasaari sehr
dichtes, teilweise übereinandergeschobenes 10-25
cm dickes Eis, anschließend kommt bis zur Linie
Helsinki-Leuchtturm — Kalbädagrund — Tiiskeri —
Yaapasaari ebenes dünnes Eis, dann bis zur Eis-
grenze dichtes bis sehr dichtes dünnes Eis vor. -
Russische Küste: In den Häfen von St. Petersburg
dichtes bis sehr dichtes 20-30 cm dickes Eis. Weiter
westwärts liegt bis zur Länge von Kronstadt 30-45
cm dickes Festeis. Außerhalb davon kommt im
Fahrwasser bis zur Länge von Seskar sehr dichtes,
pressendes 20-35 cm dickes Eis, dann bis zur
Länge des Leuchtturms Tiiskeri sehr dichtes,
pressendes 10-25 cm dickes Eis vor. Anschließend
tritt bis zur Eisgrenze lockeres 10-25 cm dickes Eis
auf. - Die Vyborgbucht ist mit 30-45 cm dickem
Festeis bedeckt. Außerhalb davon verläuft bis Halli
eine mit Neueis bedeckte Rinne, dann kommt sehr
dichtes, pressendes 15-30 cm dickes Eis vor. - Im
Berkezund liegt 15-25 cm dickes Festeis,
anschließend verläuft bis zur Breite von Kap
Stirsudden eine mit Neueis bedeckte Rinne, dann
kommt sehr dichtes, leicht pressendes 15-35 cm
dickes Eis vor. - Die Lugabucht ist mit 10-25 cm
dickem Festeis bedeckt. In der Corpora Bucht liegt
an der Küste 10-25 cm dickes Festeis, außerhalb
davon kommt lockeres Eis vor.
Gulf of Finland
The ice edge runs along the line Jussarö —Ust-
Narva. About 6-12 wide leads run from Hamina
westwards along the northern coast and from Ust-
Narva westwards along the southern coast.
Estonian Coast: Open ice is drifting in the Bay of
Narva, in the Bay of Kunda there is dark nilas near
Ihe coast. - Finnish Coast: In the inner
archipelago there is 5-25 cm thick fast ice in the
western part and 15-25 cm thick fast ice in the
sastern part. Farther off there is to Harmaja and
Haapasaari very close, partly rafted 10-25 cm thick
ice, then up to the line Helsinki lighthouse —
Kalbädagrund — Tiiskeri — Haapasaari thin level ice,
farther out close to very close thin ice occurs up to

Luga Bay is covered with 10-25 cm thick fast ice. In
the Corpora Bay there is 10-25 cm thick fast ice
along the coast, farther out there is open ice.
