ichen und 15-25 cm dickes Festeis im östlichen Teil. 
Außerhalb davon liegt bis Tainio und Haapasaari 
sehr dichtes dünnes Eis und Neueis, anschließend 
bis zur Eisgrenze Neueis und Neueisbildung. 
Russische Küste: In den Häfen von St. Petersburg 
dichtes 15-30 cm dickes Eis. Weiter westwärts liegt 
m Fahrwasser bis zur Länge von Kronstadt 25-40 
cm dickes Festeis. Außerhalb davon kommt sehr 
dichtes leicht pressendes Eis vor, die Eisdicke 
beträgt bis zur Länge von Kap Ustinskij 15-35 cm 
ind weiter bis zur Länge von Malyj T'’uters 10-25 
cm. Anschließend tritt bis zur Länge von Kap 
Lobinem lockeres 10-20 cm dickes Eis und bis zur 
Eisgrenze Neueis auf. - Die Vyborgbucht ist mit 25- 
35 cm dickem Festeis bedeckt, außerhalb davon 
‘legt zusammengeschobenes und sehr dichtes 10- 
25 cm dickes Eis. - Im Berkezund liegt 10-25 cm 
dickes Festeis, anschließend bis zur Breite von Kap 
Stirsudden dunkler Nilas, dann sehr dichtes leicht 
pressendes 10-25 cm dickes Eis. - In der Luga und 
Corpora Bucht liegt an den Küsten 10-15 cm dickes 
Festeis, außerhalb davon zusammengeschobenes 
10-20 cm dickes Eis. 
Älandsee 
In geschützten Buchten und Schären liegt dünnes 
ebenes Eis oder Neueis.

ice, farther off there is compact and very close 10-25 
cm thick ice. - In the Berkezund there is 10-20 cm 
'hick fast ice, farther off there is dark Nilas till the 
latitude of Cape Stirsudden, then very close slow 
sompressed 10-25 cm thick ice. - In the Luga Bay 
and the Corpora Bay there is 10-15 cm thick fast ice 
along the coasts, farther out compact 10-20 cm thick 
ice. 
Sea of Äland 
In sheltered bays and archipelagos there is thin 
level ice or new ice. 
Archipelago Sea 
Level 5-15 cm thick ice and new ice to Berghamn 
ın the South and to Isokari in the North. 
Sea of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: There is 15-40 cm thick fast ice in 
‘he inner archipelago, farther off thin drift ice and 
new ice occurs for about 5-15 nm. - Swedish 
Coast: In the inner bays and harbours there is up 
:o 30 cm thick level ice or fast ice. In the north 
there is for 15-30 nm level and close 5-15 cm thick 
ice, in the south there is thin level ice and new ice 
near to the coast. Ice pressure in the Bight of Gävle 
ıs slowly ceasing. The Ängermanälv is covered with 
up to 50 cm thick fast ice. At sea ice free. 
Schärenmeer 
Ebenes 5-15 cm dickes Eis uns Neueis bis 
Berghamn im Süden und bis Isokari im Norden. 
Bottensee 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären liegt 15- 
40 cm dickes Festeis, außerhalb davon auf etwa 5- 
15 sm dünnes Treibeis und Neueis. - Schwedische 
Küste: In den inneren Buchten und Häfen liegt bis 
zu 30 cm dickes ebenes Eis oder Festeis. Außerhalb 
davon kommt im Norden auf 15-30 sm ebenes und 
dichtes 5-15 cm dickes Eis und im Süden in der 
«üstennähe dünnes ebenes Eis und Neueis vor. Die 
Eispressungen in der Gävlie Bucht lassen langsam 
ı1ach. Der Angermanälv ist mit bis zu 50 cm dickem 
Festeis bedeckt. Auf See eisfrei. 
Norra Kvarken 
Vollkommen eisbedeckt. 
Finnische Küste: Zwischen Vaasa und Ensten liegt 
20-35 cm dickes Festeis, anschließend kommt bis 
Norrskär zusammenhängendes 15-20 cm dickes Eis 
Ind ebenes Eis vor. - Schwedische Küste: In den 
3uchten und Häfen entlang der Küste liegt 20-40 cm 
dickes ebenes Eis oder Festeis. Auf See kommt 
neist ebenes 10-20 cm dickes Eis mit einigen 
dickeren Schollen und kleineren Rinnen dazwischen 
vor. 
Norra Kvarken 
Totally ice covered. 
Finnish Coast: Between Vaasa and Ensten there 
is 20-35 cm thick fast ice, farther off consolidated 
5-20 cm thick ice and level ice occurs to Norrskär. 
Swedish Coast: In bays and harbours along the 
coast there is 20-40 cm thick level ice or fast ice. At 
sea there is mostly level 10-20 cm thick ice with 
some thicker floes and minor leads in between. 
Bottenvik 
Vollkommen eisbedeckt.
