10-15 cm dicken Eis bedeckt, im Südteil tritt 5-10 cm 
dickes Randeis und sehr lockeres Treibeis auf. Auf 
dem Peenefluß kommt offenes Wasser vor. - 
Polnische Küste: Im Hafen Swinoujscie kommt 
dünnes Eis vor. Im Haff liegt 10-15 cm dickes 
dichtes Eis. Im Fahrwasser Szczecin — Swinoujscie 
etwa 10 cm dickes dichtes Eis, das Örtlich 
übereinandergeschoben und bis zu 30 cm dick ist. 
ım Hafen Szczecin tritt sehr lockeres 5-10 cm dickes 
Eis auf.

cm thick ice at the coast as well as very open ice 
off the coast in the southern part. On the Peenefluß

Swinoujscie thin ice occurs. In Stettiner Haff there 
is close 10-15 cm thick ice. On the fairway 
Szezecin — Swinoujscie there is close about 10 cm 
thick ice, which is partly rafted and up to 30 cm 
thick. In the harbour of Szczecin very open 5-10 cm 
thick ice occurs. 
Mittlere und Nördliche Ostsee 
Schwedische Küste: In einigen geschützten 
Buchten und Schären kommt dünnes ebenes Eis 
oder Neueis vor. Mälarsee: Im westlichen und 
zentralen Teil liegt 10-25 cm dickes Festeis. Weiter 
Östlich kommt in den Buchten dünnes ebenes Eis 
vor. Bjorkfjärden ist eisfrei. - Russische Küste: In 
der Zufahrt nach Kaliningrad liegt 10-15 cm dickes 
Festeis. 
Central and Northern Baltic 
Swedish coast: In some sheltered bays and 
archipelagos there is thin level ice or new ice. Lake 
Mälaren: In the western and central part there is 
10-25 cm thick fast ice. Farther eastwards there is 
ihin level ice in the sheltered bays. Bjorkfjärden is 
ice-free. - Russian Coast: In the entrance to 
Kaliningrad there is 10-15 cm thick fast ice. 
Rigaischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Pärnu Bucht liegt bis zur 
1inie Liu — Tahku 12-15 cm dickes Festeis mit 
einigen offenen Stellen, außerhalb davon treibt bis 
zur Insel Kihnu sehr lockeres bis lockeres dünnes 
Eis. Im Moonsund kommt in der Östlichen 
«üstenzone 5-15 cm dickes Festeis, sonst lockeres 
Treibeis oder offenes Wasser vor. - Lettische 
Küste: Eisfrei. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Kundabucht kommt dicht 
an der Küste Neueis vor. - Finnische Küste: In den 
inneren Schären liegt dünnes Eis. - Russische 
Küste: In den Häfen von St. Petersburg lockeres bis 
dichtes 15-25 cm dickes Eis. Weiter westwärts 
kommt im Fahrwasser 15-30 cm dickes Eis vor: bis 
zur Länge von Petrodvorec lockeres bis dichtes 
Treibeis, weiter bis zur Länge des Leuchtturms 
Krasnaja Gorka dichtes bis sehr dichtes Treibeis. 
Anschließend treibt bis zur Länge 28%40' E sehr 
ockeres 10-20 cm dickes Eis. - Die Vyborgbucht ist 
mit 15-30 cm dickem Festeis bedeckt, außerhalb 
davon offenes Wasser. In der Zufahrt kommt dichtes 
10-20 cm dickes Eis vor. - Im Berkezund treibt sehr 
lockeres dünnes Eis, in der Zufahrt kommt dichtes 
10-20 cm dickes Eis vor. 
Älandsee 
In einigen geschützten Buchten und Schären an der 
schwedischen Küste liegt dünnes ebenes Eis. 
Schärenmeer 
In den Schären kommt örtlich Neueis vor. 
Gulf of Riga 
Estonian Coast: In the Pärnu Bay there is to the 
ine Liu — Tahku 12-15 cm thick fast ice with some 
open areas. Farther out up to island Kihnu very 
open to open thin ice is drifting. In the eastern 
coastal zone of the Moonsund there is 5-15 cm 
thick fast ice, else open thin drift ice or open water 
occurs. - Latvian Coast: Ice-free. 
Gulf of Finland 
Estonian Coast: In the Bay of Kunda there is new 
ice close to the coast. - Finnish Coast: In the inner 
archipelago there is thin ice. - Russian Coast: In 
'he harbours of St. Petersburg there is open to close 
‘5-25 cm thick ice. Farther westwards on the fairway 
the ice thickness is 15-30 cm: there is open to close 
drift ice to the longitude of Petrodvorec, close to very 
olose drift ice farther out to the longitude of 
'ighthouse Krasnaja Gorka. Farther off to the 
ongitude 28%0' E very open 10-20 cm thick ice is 
drifting. - The Vyborg Bay is covered with 15-30 cm 
ihick fast ice, farther out open water occurs. In the 
entrance there is close 10-20 cm thick ice. - In the 
Berkezund very open thin ice is drifting, in the 
entrance close 10-20 em thick ice occurs 
Sea of Äland 
In some sheltered bays and archipelagos along the 
Swedish coast there is thin level ice. 
Archipelago Sea 
In the archipelagos there is new ice, in places.
