Südliche Ostsee 
Deutsche Küste: In den inneren Boddengewässern 
liegt in geschützten Buchten dünnes Eis, Örtlich 
treibt Neueis. Im Hafen Stralsund und in den 
Fahrwassern zu dem Hafen dünnes Eis in 
geschützten Buchten, örtlich treibt Neueis. In der 
Dänischen Wiek liegt eine etwa 5 cm dicke Eisdecke 
im Südteil, und im Nordteil treibt Neueis, sonst ist 
der Greifswalder Bodden eisfrei. Auf dem südlichen 
Peenestrom liegt eine 10-12 cm dicke Eisdecke, in 
der Örtlich Löcher und Brüche vorkommen. Im 
Kleinen Haff dichtes bis sehr dichtes, teilweise 
aufgebrochenes 10-12 cm dickes Eis. Auf dem 
Peenefluß kommt offenes Wasser vor. - Polnische 
Küste: Im Stettiner Haff und im Fahrwasser 
Szczecin — Swinoujscie kommt dichtes 10-15 cm 
dickes Eis vor. 
Mittlere und Nördliche Ostsee 
Schwedische Küste: In einigen geschützten 
Buchten und Schären kommt dünnes ebenes Eis 
oder Neueis vor. Mälarsee: Im westlichen und 
zentralen Teil liegt 5-20 cm dickes Festeis. Weiter 
Östlich kommt in Küstennähe Neueis vor. Russische 
Küste: In der Zufahrt nach Kaliningrad liegt 10-15 
cm dickes Festeis. 
Rigaischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Pärnu Bucht liegt 13-15 cm 
dickes Festeis mit einigen offenen Stellen und 
Schmelzwasserlöchern. Im Moonsund kommt in der 
Sstlichen Küstenzone 5-15 cm dickes Festeis, sonst 
dichtes dünnes Treibeis vor. - Lettische Küste: Der 
Hafen von Riga ist eisfrei, im Fahrwasser Riga — 
Irbenstraße kommt offenes Wasser vor. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Kundabucht kommt dicht 
an der Küste Neueis vor. - Finnische Küste: In den 
inneren Schären liegt dünnes Eis. - Russische 
Küste: In den Häfen von St. Petersburg lockeres bis 
dichtes 15-25 cm dickes Eis. Weiter westwärts 
kommt im Fahrwasser 15-30 cm dickes Eis vor: bis 
zur Länge von Petrodvorec lockeres Treibeis, weiter 
bis zur Länge von Kronstadt dichtes Treibeis und 
dann bis zur Länge des Leuchtturms Tolbuchin sehr 
dichtes Eis. Anschließend liegt bis zur Länge des 
Leuchtturms Shepelevskij 10-20 cm dickes dichtes 
Jnd übereinandergeschobenes Eis. Weiter 
westwärts tritt bis zur Lange vom Kap Ustinskij 
dunkler Nilas und Neueis auf. - Die Vyborgbucht ist 
mit 15-30 cm dickem Festeis bedeckt, außerhalb 
davon Neueis. Im Berkezund und entlang der 
Küsten der Luga und Copora Bucht kommt Neueis 
vor. 
Älandsee 
In einigen geschützten Buchten und Schären an der 
schwedischen Küste lieat dünnes ebenes Eis.

Southern Baltic 
German Coast: In the inner Bodden waters there 
is thin ice in sheltered bays, new ice is drifting in 
places. In the harbour of Stralsund and in the 
fairways to the harbour there is thin ice in 
sheltered bays, new ice is drifting in places. In the 
Dänische Wiek there is about 5 cm thick ice cover 
in the southern part and some new ice is drifting in 
the northern part; else the Greifswalder Bodden is 
ice-free. On the southern Peenestrom there is 
about 10 cm thick ice cover, which is starting to 
Fracture. In the Kleines Haff there is close to very 
close 10-12 cm thick, partly broken ice. On the 
Peenefluß there open water. - Polish Coast: In 
Stettiner Haff and on the fairway Szezecin — 
Swinouiscie there is close 10-15 cm thick ice. 
Central and Northern Baltic 
Swedish coast: In some sheltered bays and 
archipelagos there is thin level ice or new ice. Lake 
Mälaren: In the western and central part there is 5- 
20 cm thick fast ice. Farther eastward there is new 
ice in near to the coast. Russian Coast: In the 
entrance to Kaliningrad there is 10-15 cm thick fast 
ice. 
Gulf of Riga 
Estonian Coast: In the Pärnu Bay there is 13-15 
cm thick fast ice with some open areas and thaw 
holes. In the eastern coastal zone of the Moonsund 
there is 5-15 cm thick fast ice, else close thin drift 
ice. - Latvian Coast: The port of Riga is ice free, 
on the fairway Riga — Irben Strait there is open 
water. 
Gulf of Finland 
Estonian Coast: In the Bay of Kunda there is new 
ice close to the coast. - Finnish Coast: In the inner 
archipelago there is thin ice. - Russian Coast: In 
the harbours of St. Petersburg there is open to close 
15-25 cm thick ice. Farther westwards on the fairway 
the ice thickness is 15-30 cm: there is open drift ice 
to the longitude of Petrodvorec, close drift ice farther 
out to the longitude of Kronstadt and very close ice 
up to the longitude of lighthouse Tolbuchin. Farther 
off there is 10-20 cm thick close and rafted ice up to 
"he longitude of lighthouse Shepelevskij. Farther 
westwards there is up to the longitude of Cape 
Ustinskij dark nilas and new ice. - The Vyborg Bay is 
covered with 15-30 cm thick fast ice, farther out new 
ice. In the Berkezund, and along the coasts of the 
Luga and Copora Bay there is new ice. 
Sea of Äland 
In some sheltered bays and archipelagos along the 
Swedish coast there is thin level ice.
