Übersicht 
Am Wochenende trieb das dünne und neu gebildete 
Eis in der Bottenvik nordwärts bis nordostwärts und 
schob sich an der Nordküste zusammen, an seinem 
Rand bildeten sich Gürtel aus festgestampftem Eis. 
In den geschützten inneren Fahrwassern und Häfen 
des südlichen Bereichs hat sich örtlich Neueis 
gebildet. 
Deutsche Bucht 
Deutsche Küste: Im Hafen Hamburg treibt 5-10 cm 
dickes sehr lockeres Eis, sonst eisfrei. 
Skagerrak, Kattegat und Beltsee 
Dänische Küste: Eisfrei. - Norwegische Küste: In 
einigen geschützt liegenden Küstenbereichen 
<ommt sehr lockeres dünnes Eis vor. Im Mossesund 
jegt kompaktes 10-15 cm dickes Eis, die Schifffahrt 
verläuft in einer Rinne. Im Drammensfjord dichtes 
Treibeis und sehr dünnes Neueis. Im Bereich 
<ragero kommt im Skätoysund lockeres 10-15 cm 
dickes Eis, im Langärsund 15-30 cm dickes Festeis 
nd in Kragerofjord offenes Wasser vor. Im 
xilsfjorden sehr lockeres, 15-30 cm dickes Treibeis, 
die Schifffahrt verläuft in einer Rinne ohne 
Eisbrecherunterstützung. - Schwedische Küste: - 
Vänersee: An der Nordküste liegt 10-15 cm dickes 
Festeis. Weiter südlich kommt in den geschützten 
3Zuchten entlang der Küste dünnes ebenes Eis oder 
Neueis vor. 
Westliche Ostsee 
Deutsche Küste: Im Hafen Schleswig kommt 
offenes Wasser vor. Im Stadthafen Rostock sowie 
auf der Unterwarnow liegt dünnes Randeis, das

Overview 
During the week-end thin and new formed ice in 
ihe Bay of Bothnia has drifted northwards to 
northeastwards and has compacted at the northern 
coast; brash ice barriers have formed at the ice 
edge. In the inner sheltered fairways and ports of 
the southern region of the Baltic Sea some new ice 
has formed. 
German Bight 
German Coast: In the harbour of Hamburg very 
open 5-10 cm thick ice is drifting, else ice-free. 
Skagerrak, Kattegat and Belt Sea 
Danish Coast: Ice free. - Norwegian Coast: In 
some sheltered coastal areas there is very open 
thin ice. In Mossesund there is compact 10-15 cm 
thick ice, navigation proceeds in a lead. In 
Drammensfjorden close drift ice and very thin new 
ice. In the Kragero region there is 10-15 cm thick 
open ice in Skätoysund, 15-30 cm thick fast ice in 
Langärsund and in Kragerofjorden open water. In 
Kilsfjorden there is very open, 15-30 cm thick drift 
ice, navigation proceeds in a lead without 
icebreaker assistance. - Swedish Coast: - Lake 
Vänern: At the northern coast there is 10-15 cm 
‘hick fast ice. Farther south thin level ice or new ice 
occurs in sheltered bays and harbours along the 
coast. 
Western Baltic 
German Coast: In the port of Schleswig there is 
open water. In the city port of Rostock and on 
Unterwarnow there is partly thin ice, fairway is ice-
