The resulting mean values of ^Pu^^Pu,
with a range 0.034-0.065, lead to the
conclusion that global weapons fallout is still
expected to be the main source for plutonium
isotopes in the Baltic Sea. Mean values of the
ratio 241 Am/ 239 ' 240 Pu were found between 0.12
(Fucus vesiculosus) and 0.47 (whole-body
sprat).
