Lettische Küste: Offenes Wasser im Hafen von 
Riga. Estnische Küste: In der Pärnu Bucht liegt bis 
etwa zur Linie Liu-Tahku kompaktes, 5-10cm dickes 
Eis. Im Moonsund an der Küste Neueis. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Finnische Küste: In den östlichen Schären 
stellenweise Neueis und Eisbildung.- Saimaasee: Im 
N-Teil tritt 10-15 cm dickes Eis, im S-Teil und im 
Kanal dünnes Eis auf. - Russische Küste: In den 
Häfen von St. Petersburg liegt 10-15 cm dickes 
zusammengeschobenes Eis. Weiter westwärts bis 
zur Westspitze der Insel Kotlin tritt im Fahrwasser 
kompaktes 10-20 cm dickes, teilweise übereinander- 
geschobenes Eis, dann bis zur Länge vom Leucht- 
'urm Tolbuchin sehr dichtes, 10-20cm dickes Eis, 
Yon dort bis zur Länge von Kap Ustinskij lockeres bis 
dichtes, 5-10cm dickes Eis. Im Bjerkesund sehr 
dichtes, 5-10cm dickes Eis. - In der Vyborgbucht liegt 
10-15cm dickes Festeis. - In der Luga Bucht liegi 
lockeres Eis. Estnische Küste: In der Narva und 
Kunda Bucht sowie entlang der Küste in der Muuga 
Bucht kommt Neueis vor. 
Bottensee 
Finnische Küste: In den nördlichen Schären kommt 
Neueis und Eisbildung vor. - Schwedische Küste: 
'n den geschützten Buchten tritt dünnes ebenes Eis 
auf. Der nördliche Ängermanälv ist mit 10-20 cm 
dickem Festeis bedeckt. 
Norra Kvarken 
Finnische Küste: Zwischen Vaasa und Ensten tritt 
dünnes Eis und Eisbildung auf. - Schwedische 
Küste: In der Einfahrt nach Umeä und in 
geschützten Buchten tritt dünnes Eis auf. 
Bottenvik 
Finnische Küste: In den nördlichen inneren Schären 
10-30 cm dickes Festeis. Außerhalb davon liegt 
zwischen Kemi und Kemi2 sowie von Oulu bis 
Hammasmatala etwa 30cm dickes Eis, welches 
stellenweise zusammengepresst wird. Anschließend 
ritt Neueis und ebenes bis zu einer Linie von 
Aepskär nach 8sm südwestlich von Kemi 2 und dann 
weiter über Merikallt und Raahe Leuchtturm weiter 
bis zum Leuchtturm Kokkola auf. In den südlichen 
Schären liegt dünnes Eis und außerhalb davon 
kommt Neueis und Eisbildung vor. - Schwedische 
Küste: In den nördlichen inneren Schären Festeis, 
10-30 cm dick. Außerhalb davon tritt bis zu den 
äußeren Inseln dünnes ebenes Eis und Neueis auf. 
Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung 
Ab Dienstag/Mittwoch werden die Temperaturen im 
gesamten Ostseeraum anfangen etwas zu steigen.

Gulf of Riga 
Latvian Coast: In the harbour of Riga open water. 
Estonian Coast: In the Pärnu Bay there is 5-10cm 
thick compact ice, the ice edge runs approximately 
along a line Liu-Tahku. In the coastal zone of the 
Moonsund there is new ice. 
Gulf of Finland 
Finnish Coast: In some places in the eastern 
archipelagos there is new ice and ice formation. Lake 
Saimaa: In the northern part 10-15 cm thick ice, in 
the southern part and in the Canal thin ice occurs. - 
Russian Coast: In the harbours of St. Petersburg 
there is 10-15cm thick compact ice. Farther out on 
the fairway there is partly rafted, compact 10-20 cm 
thick ice up to the western point of island Kotlin, then 
up to the longitude of lighthouse Tolbuchin 10-20cm 
'hick very close ice. Farther out till the longitude of 
nape Ustinskij then a mix of open and close ice, 5- 
10cm thick. There is 5-10cm thick very close ice in 
Ihe Bjerhesund. - The Vyborg Bay is covered by 5- 
10cm thick fast ice. - In Luga Bay there is open ice. 
Estonian Coast: In the Bays of Narva and Kunda, as 
well as along the coast in Muuga Bay, there is new 
ce. 
Sea of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: In the northern archipelago there is 
1ew ice and ice formation. - Swedish Coast: In 
sheltered bays there is thin level ice. The northern 
Ängermanälv is covered with 10-20 cm thick fast 
ice. 
Norra Kvarken 
Finnish Coast: From Vaasa to Ensten there is thin 
‘ce and ice formation. - Swedish Coast: In the 
entrance to Umeä and in sheltered bays there is 
thin ice. 
Bay of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: In the northern inner archipelago 
10-30 cm thick fast ice. Off the fast ice edge 
vetween Kemi and Kemi2 as well as from Oulu to 
'lammasmatala, there is about 30cm thick ice with 
‘ce pressure in places. Farther out there is level ice 
and new ice, up to a line starting at Repskär then 
going to a point 8nm Southwest of Kemi2 
continuing to Merikallat and Raahe lighthouse and 
anding at lighthouse Kokkola. In the southern 
archipelago there is thin ice and outside new ice 
and ice formation. - Swedish Coast: In the 
northern inner archipelago fast ice, 10-30 cm thick. 
Farther off there is up to the outer islands thin level 
ice and new ice. 
Expected Ice Development 
Starting Tuesday/Wednesday the temperatures will 
ise in the whole Baltic region. Till then the coldest 
temperatures with moderate frost are expected in
