Übersicht 
Die Eisverhältnisse im nördlichen Ostseeraum haben 
sich seit gestern kaum geändert. 
Skagerrak und Kattegat 
Dänische Küste: Eisfrei. - Schwedische Küste: - 
Vänersee: An der Nordküste tritt zwischen Karlstad 
und Kristinehamn 5-10 cm dickes Festeis auf. 
Außerhalb davon und in den geschützten Buchten 
kommt Neueis vor. 
Mittlere und Nördliche Ostsee 
Schwedische Küste: - Mälarsee: Im Westteil 
kommt in den aeschützten Buchten Neueis vor. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Finnische Küste: - Saimaasee: Im N-Teil tritt 5-15 
zm dickes Eis, im S-Teil und im Kanal Neueis auf. - 
Russische Küste: In den Häfen von St. Petersburg 
reiben Streifen aus dünnem Eis. Weiter bis zur 
Länge von Petrodvorec tritt im _Fahrwasser 
kompaktes 5-15 cm dickes, teilweise übereinander- 
geschobenes Eis auf. - Die geschützten Bereiche in 
der inneren Vyborgbucht sind mit 5-10 cm dickem 
Testeis bedeckt, im Fahrwasser kommt dunkler Nilas 
vor 
Bottensee 
Schwedische Küste: In den geschützten Buchten 
ritt südwärts bis Härnösand dünnes ebenes Eis oder 
Neueis auf. Der Ängermanälv ist überwiegend mit 
10-20 cm dickem Festeis bedeckt.

Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären kommt

Overview 
Ice conditions in the northern region of the Baltic 
Sea have hardly changed since yesterday. 
Skagerrak und Kattegat 
Danish Coast: Ice-free. - Sweden: - Lake Vänern: 
On the northern coast between Karlstad and 
Kristinehamn there is 5-10 cm thick fast ice. Farther 
off and in the sheltered bays new ice occurs. 
Central and Northern Baltic 
Swedish coast: - Lake Mälaren: In the western 
part there is new ice in the sheltered bays. 
Gulf of Finland 
Finnish Coast: Lake Saimaa: In the northern part 
5-15 cm thick ice, in the southern part and in the 
Canal new ice occurs. - Russian Coast: In the 
aarbours of St. Petersburg strips of thin ice are 
Irifting. Farther out on the fairway up to the longitude 
af Petrodvorec there is compact 5-15 cm thick ice, 
partly rafted. - Sheltered areas in the inner Vyborg 
Bay are covered by 5-10 cm thick fast ice, on the 
fairway dark nilas occurs. 
Sea of Bothnia 
Swedish Coast: In sheltered bays southwards to 
Härnösand there is thin level ice or new ice. The 
Ängermanälv is mostly covered with 10-20 cm thick 
fast ice.
