kompaktes Eis, 5-15 cm dick. Außerhalb davon treibt 
dünnes Treibeis. 
Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung 
Die Ostsee liegt im Einflussbereich eines 
umfangreichen Hochdruckgebietes über Nordsee. An 
den Küsten des nördlichen Bottnischen Meerbusens 
und im östlichen Finnischen Meerbusen ist in den 
nächsten zwei bis drei Tagen keine wesentliche 
ziszunahme zu erwarten, da mit Winden aus 
westlichen Richtungen weiterhin mildere Luft in den 
nördlichen Ostseeraum einfließt.

Expected Ice Development 
The Baltic Sea will be influenced by a extensive 
nigh pressure area which is situated over the North 
Sea. At the coasts of the northern Gulf of Bothnia 
and in the eastern Gulf of Finland no essential ice 
ncrease will be expected during the next two to 
ihree days, as a milder air will further penetrate into 
the northern region of the Baltic Sea from the west.
