Übersicht 
Das Eis in der Bottenvik treibt weiterhin 
südwestwärts, das Seegebiet außerhalb der 
Ännischen Küste ist nahezu eisfrel. 
Overview 
The ice in the Bay of Bothnia is further on drifting 
southwestwards, the sea area off the Finnish coast 
is almost ice-free. 
Gulf of Finland 
Finnish Coast: Mosily ice-free. On the northern Lake 
Saimaa there is 20-40 cm thick, in the southern part 
as well as in the Saimaa Canal 10-30 cm thick ice. 
Russian Coast: On the fairway to St. Petersburg 
very open rotten ice occurs south of the island Kotlin, 
else ice-free. - In Berkezund there is close 5-15 cm 
'hick ice, in places, the entrance is ice free. - The 
Vyborg Bay is covered by very close 10-20 cm thick 
very close ice, the entrance is ice free. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Finnische Küste: Überwiegend eisfrei. Auf dem 
nördlichen Saimaasee kommt 20-40 cm dickes, im 
Südteil sowie im Saimaa Kanal 10-30 cm dickes Eis 
vor. Russische Küste: Im Fahrwasser nach St. 
Detersburg kommt südlich von der Insel Kotlin sehr 
lockeres morsches Eis vor, sonst eisfrei. - Im 
Berkezund liegt örtlich dichtes 5-15 cm dickes Eis, 
die Einfahrt ist eisfrei. - Die Vyborgbucht ist mit sehr 
dichtem 10-20 cm dicken Eis bedeckt, die Einfahrt ist 
eisfrei. 
Bottensee _ 
Finnische Küste: Überwiegend eisfrei. 
Schwedische Küste: Auf dem n6$rdlichen 
Ängermanälv kommt lockeres 10-15 cm dickes 
morsches Eis vor.

Finnish Coast: Mostly ice-free. Swedish Coast: 
On the northern Ängermanälv there is open 10-15 
cm thick rotten ice. 
Norra Kvarken 
Finnische Küste: Zwischen Vaasa und Gäsgrund 
liegt 10-30 cm dickes morsches Festeis, außerhalb 
davon kommt offenes Wasser vor. Schwedische 
Küste: Auf See kommt überwiegend offenes Wasser 
vor.

Bottenvik 
Finnische Küste: In den nördlichen Schären 30-60 
m dickes Festeis. Außerhalb davon treibt zwischen 
Kemi 3 und Kemi 1 sehr lockeres Eis und 
Trümmereis, sonst ist das Seegebiet nahezu eisfrei.
