Übersicht 
Das Eis in der Bottenvik hat südwärts getrieben, und 
außerhalb des Festeises hat sich eine breite Rinne 
geöffnet. In der Rinne kommen Neueis und einige 
dickere Eisschollen vor. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären kommt 
Srtlich dünnes Eis vor. Auf dem Saimaa See sowie 
im Saimaa Kanal 10-40 cm dickes Eis. Russische 
Küste: Die Häfen von St. Petersburg sind eisfrei. 
Weiter westwärts tritt im Fahrwasser von 
Detrodvorec bis zur Länge von Westspitze der Insel 
Kotlin kompaktes, teilweise hügelig aufgepresstes 
'5-25 cm dickes Eis auf. - Im Berkezund liegt 
kompaktes 10-15 cm dickes Eis, die Einfahrt ist 
sisfrei. - Die Vyborgbucht ist mit 15-25 cm dickem 
Festeis und kompaktem 10-20 cm dicken Eis 
bedeckt, die Einfahrt ist eisfrei. 
Bottensee 
Finnische Küste: In den Schären liegt örtlich 
dünnes Eis. Schwedische Küste: Auf See treibt 
nördlich der Breite 6240' N 2-10 cm dickes 
lockeres Eis. Der nördliche Ängermanälv ist mit 10- 
30 cm dickem Festeis bedeckt. In einigen 
geschützten Buchten und Häfen südwärts bis Gävle 
kommt dünnes ebenes Eis vor. 
Norra Kvarken 
Finnische Küste: Zwischen Vaasa und Nygrund 
liegt 10-30 cm dickes Festeis, außerhalb davon 
kommt bis Norrskär offenes Wasser vor. Auf See 
'reibt von Norrskär südwestwärts auf 20 sm lockeres 
dünnes Eis. Schwedische Küste: In der Einfahrt

Overview 
The ice in the Bay of Bothnia has drifted 
southwards, and off the fast ice a wide lead has 
opened. In the lead new ice and some thicker ice 
floes occur. 
Gulf of Finland 
Finnish Coast: In the inner archipelagos there is thin 
‘ce, in places. On the Saimaa lake as well as in the 
Saimaa Canal there is 10-40 cm thick ice. Russian 
Coast: The harbours of St. Petersburg are ice-free. 
Farther out on the fairway from Petrodvorec up to the 
'ongitude of the western point of island Kotlin there is 
compact, partly hummocked 15-25 cm thick ice. - In 
Berkezund there is compact 10-15 cm thick ice, the 
entrance is ice-free. - The Vyborg Bay is covered by 
15-25 cm thick fast ice and compact 10-20 cm thick 
ice, the entrance is ice-free. 
Sea of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: In the archipelago there is thin ice 
in places. Swedish Coast: At sea north of the 
latitude 62%0' N 2-10 cm thick open ice is driftin g. 
The northern Ängermanälv is covered with 10-30 
cm thick fast ice. Thin level ice occurs in some 
sheltered bays and harbours southwards to Gävle. 
Norra Kvarken 
Finnish Coast: Between Vaasa to Nygrund there is 
10-30 cm thick fast ice, farther out there is open 
water to Norrskär. At sea thin open ice is drifting 
from Norrskär southwestwards for 20 nm. Swedish 
Coast: In the entrance to Holmsund there is partly
