Übersicht 
Das Eis auf See in der Bottenvik treibt 
nordwestwärts. Die südliche Eisgrenze verläuft 
entlang der Breite 65 °N. 
Overview 
The ice in the Bay of Bothnia is drifting 
northwestwards. The southern ice edge runs along 
the latitude 65°N. 
Gulf of Finland 
Finnish Coast: In the inner archipelagos there is thin 
‘ce, in places. Russian Coast: In the harbours of St. 
Petersburg there is compact 10-15 cm thick ice. 
Farther out on the fairway up to the longitude of 
Kronstadt there is 15-30 cm thick very close, partly 
ıummocked ice. Farther westwards up to the 
ongitude of the eastern point of island Bol'Soj 
Ber'ozovy] some strips of ice are drifting. North of 
about the line island Bol'Soj Ber'ozovyj — Island 
Kotlin there is compact, partly rafted 5-15 cm thick 
ice. - In Berkezund compact 10-15 cm thick ice, in 
the entrance nilas, 5-15 cm thick. - The Vyborg Bay is 
covered by 20-35 cm thick fast ice and compact 10- 
20 cm thick ice, the entrance is ice-free. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären kommt 
örtlich dünnes Eis vor. Russische Küste: In den 
Häfen von St. Petersburg liegt kompaktes 10-15 cm 
dickes Eis. Weiter westwärts bis zur Länge von 
Kronstadt tritt im Fahrwasser sehr dichtes 15-30 cr 
dickes, teilweise hügelig aufgepresstes Eis auf, 
Anschließend treiben bis zur Länge von Ostspitze 
der Insel Bol'Soj Ber'ozovyj einzelne Eisstreifen, 
Nördlich etwa der Linie Insel Bol'Soj Ber'ozovy] 
Insel Kotlin liegt kompaktes, teilweise übereinander- 
Jeschobenes 5-15 cm dickes Eis. - Im Berkezund 
<ompaktes 10-15 cm dickes Eis, in der Einfahrt 
Nilas, 5-15 cm dick. - In der Vyborgbucht liegt 20-35 
3m dickes Festeis und kompaktes 10-20 cm dickes 
Eis, die Einfahrt ist eisfrei. 
Schärenmeer 
Überwiegend offenes Wasser. 
Bottensee 
Finnische Küste: In den Schären liegt örtlich 
dünnes Eis. Schwedische Küste: Der nördliche 
Ängermanälv ist mit 10-30 cm dickem Festeis 
bedeckt. 
Norra Kvarken 
Finnische Küste: Zwischen Vaasa und Ensten liegt 
10-30 cm dickes Festeis, weiter außerhalb kommt 
offenes Wasser vor. Schwedische Küste: In der 
Archipelago Sea 
Mostly open water 
Sea of Bothnia
