Übersicht 
Während des Wochenendes herrschte im nördlichen 
Dstseeraum weiterhin milde Luft vor. Das Eis in der 
Kronstadtbucht driftete mit auffrischenden südlichen 
Winden nordwärts und wird zur Zeit gegen die 
Nordküste gepresst. 
Mittlere und Nördliche Ostsee 
Schwedische Küste: - Mälarsee: Eisfrei 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Russische Küste: In den Häfen von St. Petersburg 
treiben Streifen mit sehr lockerem dünnen Eis. 
Weiter im Fahrwasser bis zur Länge von Koltlin 
kommt kompaktes 5-15 cm dickes, teilweise 
Übereinandergeschobenes Eis und Bereiche mit 
ffenem Wasser vor. Das dünne Eis wird gegen die 
Nordküste gepresst. - Die geschütztliegenden 
Bereiche in der inneren Vyborgbucht sind mit 10-15 
cm dickem Festeis bedeckt, im Fahrwasser treiben 
Streifen mit dünnem Eis. 
Bottensee 
Schwedische Küste: Auf dem Ängermanälv kommt 
1ördlich der Sandöbrücke 5-10 cm dickes Festeis 
und lockeres Treibeis vor. 
Bottenvik 
Finnische Küste: In den nördlichen Schären kommt 
3-12 cm dickes Festeis oder kompaktes Treibeis vor. 
- Schwedische Küste: In den nördlichen Schären 5- 
15 cm dickes Festeis oder kompaktes Treibeis. 
Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung 
In dieser Woche wird der nördliche Ostseeraum 
Overview 
Mild maritime air dominated in the northern region 
of the Baltic Sea during the week-end. Thin ice in 
the Kronstadt Bay has drifted with freshening 
southerly winds northwards, and it is under 
pressure against the northern coast at the time. 
Central and Northern Baltic 
Swedish coast: - Lake Mälaren: Ice-free. 
Gulf of Finland 
Russian Coast: In the harbours of St. Petersburg 
strips of very open thin ice are drifting. Farther out on 
the fairway up to the longitude of Kotlin there is 
compact 5-15 cm thick ice, partly rafted and areas 
with open water. Thin ice is under pressure against 
the northern coast. - Sheltered areas in the top of 
Vyborg Bay are covered by 10-15 cm thick fast ice, 
on the fairway strips with thin ice are drifting. 
Sea of Bothnia 
Swedish Coast: On the Ängermanälv north of the 
Sandö Bridge there is 5-10 cm thick fast ice and 
open drift ice. 
Bay of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: In the northern archipelago there is 
3-12 cm thick fast ice or compact drift ice. - 
Swedish Coast: In the northern archipelago 5-15 
cm thick fast ice or compact drift ice.
