Übersicht 
Das Eis in der Bottenvik treibt unter Auflockerung 
westwärts, und in den offenen Bereichen nördlich der 
Breite 650 bildet sich Neueis. 
- Die Schifffahrtsbeschränkungen für die finnischen 
Häfen Raahe, Kokkola, Pietarsaari und Vaasa sowie 
‘ür die schwedischen Häfen Karlsborg, Luleä, 
Haraholmen, Skelleftea und Holmsund werden mit 
Wirkung vom 3. bzw. 4. März angehoben. 
Overview 
The ice in the Bay of Bothnia is drifting westwards 
and loosening. In the open areas north of the 
latitude 65°N new ice is forming. 
The restrictions to navigation for the finnish 
harbours Raahe, Kokkola, Pietarsaari and Vaasa 
as well as for the swedish harbours Karlsborg, 
Luleäa, Haraholmen, Skelleftea and Holmsund will 
be increased from March, 3'“ and 4", respectively. 
Rigaischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Pärnu Bucht liegt an der 
Nordostküste ein schmaler Festeissaum, außerhalb 
davon treibt örtlich 5-10 cm dickes Eis. Moonsund ist 
eisfrei. 
Gulf of Riga 
Estonian Coast: In the Pärnu Bay there is a 
n1arrow belt of fast ice on the northeastern coast, 
and farther off 5-10 cm thick ice is drifting in places. 
Moonsund is ice-free. 
Gulf of Finland 
Finnish Coast: In the inner archipelagos there is thin 
.ce, in places. Russian Coast: In the harbours of St. 
Petersburg there is compact 10-15 cm thick ice, in 
olaces. Farther out on the fairway up to the longitude 
of Kronstadt there is 15-25 cm thick very close, partly 
ı1ummocked ice, towards the south there are areas of 
open water. Farther westwards there is compact 5-10 
cm thick ice up to the longitude of lighthouse 
Krasnaja Gorka, then mostly open water. - In 
Berkezund compact 5-10 cm thick ice occurs. - The 
Yyborg Bay is covered by 15-25 cm thick fast ice and 
compact 10-15 cm thick ice, the entrance is ice-free. - 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären kommt 
örtlich dünnes Eis vor. Russische Küste: In den 
Häfen von St. Petersburg liegt örtlich kompaktes 10- 
15 cm dickes Eis. Weiter westwärts bis zur Länge 
von Kronstadt tritt im Fahrwasser sehr dichtes 15-25 
cm dickes, teilweise hügelig aufgepresstes Eis auf, 
1ach Süden hin stellenweise auch offenes Wasser, 
Anschließend kommt bis zur Länge vom Leuchtturm 
Krasnaja Gorka kompaktes 5-10 cm dickes Eis, dann 
Jberwiegend offenes Wasser vor. - Im Berkezund 
tritt kompaktes 5-10 cm dickes Eis auf. - In der 
Yyborgbucht liegt 15-25 cm dickes Festeis und 
<xompaktes 10-15 cm dickes Eis, die Einfahrt ist 
aisfrei. 
Schärenmeer 
Inden inneren Schären kommt örtlich dünnes Eis 
Archipelago Sea
