Übersicht 
Über das Wochenende hat der Wind das Eis in der 
Bottenvik nach Süden, von der Festeiskante weg 
getrieben und es hat sich etwas Neueis gebildet. 
Sonst haben sich die Eisverhältnisse im nördlichen 
Ostseeraum seit Freitag nicht wesentlich geändert. 
Skagerrak und Kattegat 
Schwedische Küste: Vänersee: An der Nordküste 
tritt zwischen Karlstad und Kristinehamn dünnes 
dichtes Eis auf. 
Rigaischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Pärnu Bucht liegt im Ostteil 
nah an der Küste 5-15 cm dickes Festeis. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Finnische Küste: In den östlichen inneren Schären 
dünnes Eis. Saimaasee: Der Saima Kanal ist für die 
Schifffahrt gesperrt. Russische Küste: In den Häfen 
von St. Petersburg liegt örtlich 10-15 cm dickes Eis. 
Weiter westwärts bis zur Länge von Kotlin tritt im 
Tahrwasser sehr dichtes 10-20 cm dickes, teilweise 
übereinandergeschobenes und hügelig aufgepress- 
tes Eis auf. Weiter westwärts bis zur Länge des 
Leuchtturms Tolbuchin kommt 10-15 cm dickes 
kompaktes Eis vor. - Im Berkezund kompaktes 5-10 
cm dickes Eis. - In der Vyborgbucht liegt 12-20 cm 
dickes Festeis, die Einfahrt ist eisfrel. 
Bottensee 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären kommt 
örtlich dünnes Eis vor. Schwedische Küste: Der 
nördliche Ängermanälv ist mit 10-20 cm dickem 
Festeis bedeckt. In inneren Schären kommt örtlich

Overview 
Over the weekend the wind pushed the ice in the 
Bay of Bothnia towards the south, away from the 
fast ice, and some new ice has formed. Otherwise, 
ice conditions in the northern region of the Baltic 
Sea have not changed very much since Friday. 
Skagerrak and Kattegat 
Sweden: Lake Vänern: On the northern coast 
between Karlstad and Kristinehamn there is thin 
close ice. 
Gulf of Riga 
Estonian Coast: In the Pärnu Bay there is 5-15 cm 
thick fast ice in the eastern coastal zone. 
Gulf of Finland 
Finnish Coast: In the eastern inner archipelagos 
there is thin ice. Lake Saimaa: The Saimaa Canal is 
closed for navigation. Russian Coast: In the 
harbours of St. Petersburg there is 10-15 cm thick 
ce, in places. Farther out on the fairway up to the 
‚ongitude of Kotlin there is 10-20 cm thick very close, 
partly hummocked and rafted ice. Farther westwards 
Jp to the longitude of lighthouse Tolbuchin there is 
10-15 cm thick compact ice. - In Berkezund there is 
5-10 cm thick compact ice. - The Vyborg Bay is 
covered by 12-20 cm thick fast ice, the entrance is ice 
free.
