Übersicht 
Über das Wochenende hat sich in der Bottenvik auf 
finnischer Seite die Eisgrenze etwas nach Westen 
verlagert. Das Eis im Finnischen Meerbusen ist 
etwas zurückgegangen, besonders Gebiete wo am 
Freitag nur Nilas vorkam sind jetzt eisfrei. Im 
südlichen Bereich der Ostsee kommt Eis nur noch in 
geschützten, flachen Bereichen vor. 
Skagerrak und Kattegat 
Schwedische Küste: Vänersee: An der Nordküste 
tritt zwischen Karlstad und Kristinehamn dünnes 
Festeis auf, sonst offenes Wasser. 
Westliche und Südliche Ostsee 
Deutsche Küste: In der nördlichen Region des 
Stettiner Haffs tritt sehr dichtes Eis auf. Polnische 
Küste: Zalew WisSlany ist mit dünnen Eis bedeckt 
und im Nordteil des Stettiner Haffs kommt dünnes 
Eis vor. Russische Küste: Das Kurische Haff ist mit 
dünnen Eis bedeck. 
Mittlere und Nördliche Ostsee 
Lettische Küste: Eisfrei. - Schwedische Küste: 
Mälarsee: Überwiegend offenes Wasser. 
Rigaischer Meerbusen 
Lettische Küste: Eisfrei. Estnische Küste: In der 
Därnu Bucht liegt morsches Festeis mit 10-15m 
oreiten Spalten. Im Moonsund tritt in Küstennähe 
zerbrochenes Festeis auf, weiter außerhalb treibt 
lockeres bis dichtes Eis.

Overview 
Over the weekend the ice on the Finnish side of the 
Bay of Bothnia as shifted a little westwards. In the 
Sulf of Finland the ice receded a little bit, in general 
‚egion which were covered by Nilas on Friday are 
now ice free. In the southern part of the Baltic ice is 
present only in sheltered, shallow areas. 
Skagerrak and Kattegat 
Sweden: Lake Vänern: On the northern coast 
between Karlstad and Kristinehamn there is thin 
fast ice, else open water. 
Western and Southern Baltic 
German Coast: In the northern Region of the 
Stetiner Haff very close ice occurs. Polish Coast: 
Zalew Wislany is covered with thin ice and thin ice 
occurs in the northern part of Zalew Szczecinski. 
Russian Coast: Kurskij Zaliv is covered with thin 
ice. 
Central and Northern Baltic 
Latvian Coast: Ice free. - Swedish coast: Lake 
Mälaren: Mostly open water. 
Gulf of Riga 
Latvian Coast: Ice free. Estonian Coast: In the 
DPärnu Bay there is rotten fast ice with 10-15m wide 
cracks. In the coastal zone of Moonsund there is 
broken fast ice, farther out open to close ice is 
drifting.

Estonian Coast: In the coastal zone of the Bay of
