Iler skip Bell'Tophon, in re-
cently rouwfetg the south end of Arkudi
island, on the south side of Santa Maura,
grazed a rock not marked on the chart.
The rock is said to lie about S. E. by S.,
distant 2 cables from the south point of the
island. Mariners are cautioned not to ap
proach too close to the salient points of the
islands in this sea.

L'Amirauté russe fait savoir que, pendant
la tempête de S. S. O. qui a soufflé dans la
nuit du 15 au 16 décembre dernier, la pointe
de Kinburn a été emportée dans deux en
droits. L'un des passages formés est près
des balises d'alignement, l'autre à 370 mètres
environ dans l'Est. La balise du Sud a dis
paru; celle du Nord est couchée. On va
s'occuper de replacer les balises dans leur
position première.

La Direction des phares de la mer Noire
et île la mer d'Azof fait connaître que la
Commission pour l'amélioration du port de
Berdiansk a supprimé le phare flottant de
Berdiansk, sur lequel on hissait un feu blanc
temporairement quand l'état de la mer em
pêchait d'allumer les feux du bout de la jetée.
