For each SST and OC parameter a total of eight values have been determined per 
pixel (see Table 2). As mentioned before, the statistical measures have been 
calculated over certain time periods. Thus, yearly and seasonal mean measures have 
been retrieved and in the case of SST from the AVHRR image the monthly mean 
measure has been retrieved respectively.
