Mai 12: Komet ohne deutlichen Kern, später tritt zuweilen ein deutlicher Kern etwas exzentrisch zur hellen Mitte hervor, 
sodass der Unterschied in den beiden Anschlüssen vielleicht hierauf zurückzuführen ist. 
„ 17: Beim ersten Vergleichstern gingen mehrere Durchgänge durch schlechtes Funktioniren des Chronographen verloren. 
„ 22: Erster Anschi, hei vielfachen Wolken nur sehr massig; zweiter nach längerer Pause bei scharf sichtbarem Kern recht gut. 
Juni 28: a massig, S gut. Juni 29: leidlich. Juli 6: Komet an der Grenze der Sichtbarkeit, Beobachtung nur sehr massig.
