Die Ephemeride wurde von März 4 bis Juli 15 in vierteltägigen Intervallen direkt siebenstellig ge 
rechnet, um bei der Vergleichung der Beobachtungen mit der Ephemeride die Interpolation mit dritten 
Differenzen in den meisten Fällen vermeiden zu können. Auch lässt sich dadurch bei einer so grossen An 
zahl Beobachtungen die Arbeit übersichtlicher gestalten und leichter kontroliren. Die Sonnenkoordinaten 
sind dem Berliner astronomischen Jahrbuche entnommen. Die Ephemeride giebt die Kometenörter für 
mittlere Zeit Berlin.
